# Hackeriet

> Hackeriet is a community-operated hackerspace in Oslo, Norway: a shared physical space where people meet to explore technology, learn from each other, repair and build things, and run community projects.

Hackeriet is not a company, coworking office, school, or commercial tech hub. It is a volunteer-run hackerspace. Activities are organized by members and visitors on their own initiative, and much of the value comes from informal knowledge sharing, curiosity, and hands-on experimentation.
